Your Photos Wanted for Clean Streams Day on April 12
By Raymond Boc and Bev Hunter
Show off your photos of your favorite stream at Rappahannock County Clean Streams Day on April 12. Photographers young and old, amateur or professional, are invited to participate. The goal is to exhibit the photographs and engage the people attending the Clean Streams Day at the Schoolhouse in Sperryville. These photographs should raise awareness and educate participants in the value of the many streams in our county.
Your photos will be exhibited in the Schoolhouse throughout the day and participants will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite image in each of five categories. Photos best illustrating the assigned quality in each category, as decided by popular vote, may be used (with attribution) as illustrations in future RappFLOW educational materials. The top vote-getters will also be awarded a gift.
The categories are:
Submit no more than 3 entries total and no more than 2 entries in a category. You may submit photographs in full resolution digital format by April 7. The organizers of the exhibit will print the digital photographs in high quality 8x10 format to use in the exhibit.
You may also submit your hard copy photographs to Ray Boc at PO Box 295, Sperryville VA 22740. See below for the information that should accompany your hard copy submission (same as for email submissions).
If you miss the April 7 deadline, you can deliver your photos in hard copy (8x10 preferred) to the Schoolhouse on the morning of the event between 9:30 and 10:00 am.
