You can make a difference in helping to preserve, protect, conserve and restore our water resources and watersheds in Rappahannock County. Rappflow’s three committees all welcome volunteers. The committees are – i. Water Quality; ii. Environment Education; iii. Public Outreach. We welcome volunteers to participate in our programs. Training and materials are provided.
Volunteers can participate in a number of activities including:
- helping plan events and activities
- collecting water quality data in the field
- researching topics related to water quality and watershed protection in Rappahannock County
- writing articles for the local newspaper, RappFLOW web site and Facebook
- photography at events
- coordinating with other volunteers
- attending meetings with stakeholder groups
- organizing information for the website
